Description

1756-CN2R B High Frequency Data Processor

The company’s strategy is to introduce a machine safety control unit to assist machine builders, rebuilders and end users to integrate a fully programmable safety control unit. This is a viable and cost-effective solution to address market applications such as upgrading conventional safety relays without increasing the cost of the PLC system, providing a customised safety control unit capable of handling multiple safety devices in series, managing the logical control functions of these devices, integrating multiple machine positions and machine safety, and integrating the safety devices with existing PLC systems. This PCU/1 Master Control Unit is modular and can accept a total of 14 expansion modules to create a system with up to 128 inputs, 16 dual-channel safety outputs, and 16 status outputs to handle your machine safety configurations, devices and networks. Tapswich also offers an integrated PCU/1 Master Unit with pcueu/1 Expansion Unit for additional multiple fail-safe devices.

For rfid integration and data processing in HF and UHF applications, the 1756-CN2R B is an interface module with PLC functionality. The module’s controller functionality allows rfid data to be filtered and pre-processed and linked to a wider range of control operations, enabling dynamic or multi-tag rfid applications. The design of the module makes this module ideal for retrofit rfid applications. the IP67 rating allows it to be used outside of cabinets, and actuators and sensors can be connected to both HF and UHF rfid read-write heads. These features reduce the installation and wiring effort required for industrial identification solutions.

For additional flexibility, users can set up multi-protocol devices as one of the Ethernet protocols – Profinet, Ethernet/IP or MOBUS trade agreements – through the CODESSS environment. The module provides 256MB of flash memory and runs on an 800 MHz CPU that accesses a 128MB Ddr3-RAM It connects to the Ethernet layer via an M12 connector and power is provided via a 7/8″ connector. The module provides four RFID ports for HF or UHF readers and eight general-purpose DXPI/OS for sensors or actuators, which extends the functionality of the module with full programmability and additional I/Os. Two rfid ports and four configurable digital I/O points are provided for external devices, and an IP67 rating is provided for integration into existing applications.

.

1756-CN2R B is a modular series of machine safety control units that make machine safety integration easier and programmable logic control functions for all your safety devices, such as multiple combinations of mats, edges, bumpers, laser scanners, light curtains, non-contact safety switches, photocells, mechanical switches, emergency stations, and two manual controls. Depending on the performance of the safety devices, the configuration of the system and the installation, certified safety levels are available up to CAT4SLC3S3. The module, combined with an industrial Ethernet CPU, creates a powerful industrial control system. 1024 points can be configured in a single drop on the remote I/O adapter. Multiple adapters can be configured on the network, which can be coaxial or fibre optic cabling (the maximum number of drops allowed is based on the controller, not on the Teva I/O system). Even in the most challenging application environments, there are thousands of customers using software I/O controllers. This enhanced I/O system is now available for other controller platforms as well
