Therefore, a super flowmeter equipped with a multi-parameter transmitter has several times the trouble-free operating time of a normal differential pressure flowmeter: alarms for freezing of the pilot pipe, alarms for over-temperature/over-pressure, and alarms for pressure leakage.

1900/27 The previous differential pressure flowmeter will occupy three channels when connected to DCS, and DCS also needs to complete the flow compensation and calculation function with the host computer. And the use of super flowmeter only occupies a DCS channel, and dynamic algorithm compensation is not possible with DCS. So the DCS using super flowmeter has higher accuracy and lower cost.
