The 1C31232G02 is an intrinsically safe wireless stream transmitter that wirelessly forwards data anywhere in the world via an internet connection. This wireless flowmeter combines a TRG turbine from AW-QRK or a positive displacement flowmeter from JV-CG or JV-KG with a signalling point that works in a mesh network, sending data via MODBUS to a gateway, which then transfers the data to a PC, PLC or other control system. Wireless radio nodes are automatically installed in the network and adapt to changes in data volume, radio transmission conditions, and power conditions.ISM bands maintain radio signal strength through terrain, structure, or weather and have a range of up to half a mile.
The 1C31232G02 is designed for applications using limited or no power at all. The SSF-WP is essentially a secure wireless traffic transmitter that includes an internal lithium battery to power passive inductive traffic sensors and radio nodes for years, even in cold temperatures. The traffic transmitter can be configured for a 5 second to 1 hour check-in interval to conserve battery life. Flow and total data configurations are available. The wireless stream transmitter installs a thread every minute. Units with intrinsically safe design operate in hazardous areas where hostile or volatile substances and liquids are present.
