 2711P-T6C5A is easy to use for projects that require no capital expenditure or maintenance. For this reason, temperature scanners are also known as multi-point indicators/scanners. The temperature scanner is basically based on digital technology or microprocessor/microcontroller based. It is capable of measuring temperature from resistance temperature sensors such as RTDtt100 or different types of thermocouples such as J, K, R, S, T, B, E and N. It is also capable of measuring temperature from a temperature sensor such as RTDtt100.

2711P-T6C5A is a device that measures more than one temperature point or multiple channels. In effect, it is a multi-channel indicator that measures and displays the signal of each channel up to the last channel, then returns to the first channel and continues the process cyclically. This continuous cyclic measurement process is called scanning. Temperature is the most widely measured parameter in industry. By using a temperature scanner, it is possible to measure the temperature of several points in a single unit, thus saving cost and space.
