The series also features a highly durable die-cast enclosure with flexible port combinations that can withstand shock forces up to 30G, ensuring stable operation in harsh environments. the MDS-G4000 series of modular switches meets the stringent requirements of various industry certifications for substation automation systems (IEC 61850-3*, IEEE 1613), trackside applications (EN 50121-4), oil and gas applications (ATEX*, C1D2*), smart grid applications (IEC 61850-4*, IEEE 1613), and other applications. -The MDS-G4000 series combines upgraded functionality and increased reliability to create a scalable platform for 24/7 operation.

The 3500/20 switches come with a user-friendly web interface that makes it easy to search for switch features and easily configure them. The latest HTML5 interface provides a superior user experience whether you are using a laptop, tablet or cell phone. Furthermore, Moxa MXview software makes it easy to monitor the status of the switches in real time. In the event of a switch failure, MXview will immediately notify you of the failure and the location of the switch, allowing you to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot the situation on site.

To meet the continuous expansion needs of industrial networks, the 3500/20 series offers Class 5 4-port interface modules and two types of power supply modules, which can be flexibly paired to connect with an ever-increasing number of devices.The compact size of the MDS-G4000 series, combined with DIN-rail, wall-mounted, and rack-mounted* mounting options, allows for flexible deployment in harsh industrial environments such as cramped chassis, underground, and outdoor environments, wherever needed.
