3500/42M Calibrated Gas Flow Meter


The 3500/42M is a sensor that converts mechanical geometric displacements on the output shaft into electrical pulse signals by means of photoelectric conversion. Its principle block diagram in Figure 2. to determine the direction of rotation, the code plate can also provide a phase difference of 90º between the two pulse signals and zero signals. Three channels output signals A, B, Z. Clockwise rotation, channel A output waveform ahead of the channel B waveform 90 °; counterclockwise rotation, channel A output waveform late channel B waveform 90 °; photoelectric bi-directional encoder per revolution, the output of a reference pulse, the center of the waveform of the reference pulse aligned with the waveform of the channel A output.

3500/42M is a standard device for calibrating gas flow meter, which takes the effective volume inside the bell housing as the standard volume, when the bell housing is lowered, the gas discharged inside the bell housing leads to the inspected meter through the test pipe, comparing the volume of gas discharged inside the bell housing with that indicated by the inspected meter, and then the accuracy of the meter is obtained. Bell-type gas measurement and calibration system has three main working forms: (1) manual detection, direct reading; (2) semi-automatic detection (equipped with flow calculator); (3) fully automatic detection (computer control) to complete the automatic control of the entire testing process. The basic configuration of 3500/42M requires 14 points of switching inputs and 9 points of switching outputs. Figure 2 shows the hardware wiring diagram.
