A6220 Separate Data Processor

The response speed of the A6220 is determined not only by the CPU, but also by the I/O data transfer rate. the main CPU of the PCC itself is extremely fast, and at the same time it borrows the structure of a mainframe computer, adopting the I/O-Processor to handle the I/O data transfer individually, and adopting the DPR-Controller to be in charge of the management of the network and the system. In other words, there are three processors on one PCC module, which are independent and interrelated, maximising the speed of the whole system.

The A6220 is the highest performance product in the series, adopting Intel Celeron 650 processor and additional I/O processor and floating point processor FPU. the system’s single-step instruction processing cycle can reach as fast as 0.01μs, and the cycle time of a single work task can be up to 200μs, which makes it one of the world’s most powerful and fastest PLC/PCC CPUs in the world today.

A6220 system frequency and phase measurement response speed is extremely fast: the main CPU contains a TPU, can calculate and process pulse signals with a frequency of up to 4MHz to 6MHz, and thus can cleverly solve the frequency and phase measurement problems of the system, which can be realised in the power system to achieve rapid and automatic quasi-simultaneous grid-connections.A6220’s powerful data communication function makes the A6220’s flexibility in remote communication is different from conventional PLCs. Flexibility, a distinctive mark that distinguishes it from conventional PLCs
