Description
Acquisition Logic AL81G Digital Variable Conditioning Module
The AL81G signal is pre-processed before being passed on as a digital variable, thus lightening the load on the controller. The reactive and apparent power of each of the three phases is measured, as well as the total reactive and apparent power of the three phases. The power consumption and sum of each phase is also recorded. The module measures currents and voltages up to the 31st harmonic and is therefore very accurate. Due to its high sensitivity and fourth channel, it is ideally suited for measuring leakage currents on the neutral line.
With channel-to-channel scalability, the AL81G is ideal for embedded or portable applications such as test benches, defense systems and process control applications. Ideally suited for use in harsh industrial environments, this overmolded module is shock, dust, and moisture resistant and operates reliably in temperatures from -40 to 85°C. It is also certified by the Hazardous Locations UL. It also has Hazardous Location UL/cUL Class 1 Div 2 and ATEX Zone 2 approvals.
Accessories for the AL81G include a range of backplanes with slots for 4, 8 or 16 modules. Fuse clips securely hold modules without screws for easy insertion/removal. The backplanes support surface or DIN rail mounting and include CJCs for temperature input modules. blue LEDs indicate that the module is ready for Bluetooth communication. When used with a plug-in 5V power module, it provides connection to a 5V power supply or a 10-32Vdc power supply. the DB25 connector facilitates the direct connection of all uB I/O signals to the host data acquisition system via a single cable connection. the DB25 connector allows for the direct connection of all uB I/O signals to the host data acquisition system via a single cable connection.
