CB6687-2L In order to ensure the smooth development of railway communications and the safety and reliability of its communications, the Electricity Bureau of the Ministry of Railways has been carrying out centralised monitoring and control of communications power supply equipment and its environment since 1997. The monitoring system carries out telemetry, telecommunication and remote control on each independent communication power supply and air-conditioning system and each equipment within the system, monitors the operation status of the system and equipment in real time, records and processes relevant data, detects faults in a timely manner, and notifies the personnel to deal with the faults, so as to realise fewer or unmanned communication bureaus (stations) and centralised monitoring and maintenance management of power supply and air-conditioning to improve the reliability of the power supply system and safety of the communication equipment. The reliability of the power supply system and the safety of the communication equipment are improved.

The response time of CB6687-2L monitoring system is less than 10s from the occurrence of a fault event to the time interval of reflecting it to the manned monitoring level, and it can respond to multi-point simultaneous alarms of multiple events. The hardware and software of the system should adopt modular structure with maximum flexibility to adapt to the needs of monitoring system networks of different sizes and different numbers of monitoring objects (monitored devices). The monitoring system does not affect the normal work of the monitoring object and does not change the original function of the intelligent equipment (equipment with internal automatic control function).
