Description

CP461-50 Highly Accurate Temperature Sensor

The CP461-50 has one LGA775 slot and is compatible with Intel Core 2 Quad, 2 Duo, Pentium DC, Celeron DC, and Celeron Processor 440. Two DIMM slots support up to 8GB of DDR2 memory and there is room for two 2.5-inch hard drives or a single 3.5-inch hard drive.hard disk. There is also a CompactFlash slot for flash storage. In addition, the FW-8755 features a front LCM panel, dual USB and an RJ45 console port.

The CP461-50 module consists of two parallel probes, one containing a capacitance-based humidity sensor and the other containing a high-precision temperature sensor. The sensor module can be mounted on any surface or duct, such as HVAC ducts or cleanroom walls. Either probe can be removed for cleaning, calibration, or replacement. The HTZ also includes a humidity and temperature display module that can be mounted up to 30 feet away from the sensor module. The display module powers the sensor probe and generates two 4-20mA output signals. Each output can be programmed to indicate relative humidity, temperature, or dew point.

CP461-50 features include:
PC-Based or HART-Based Configuration: Program the HTZ in the field in just a few minutes from any point on the 4-20mA loop using the free Intelligent PC Configuration Software, a HART-based system, or from any point on the 4-20mA loop using a standard handheld HART communicator.
Set Input Failure Modes: The programming feature allows you to set the failure mode of each 4-20mA output to drive up the scale, down the scale, or hold the last value in the event of a sensor failure or disconnection of the cable between the sensor module and the display module.
Easy maintenance: The humidity and temperature probes can be disassembled for cleaning, calibration, or replacement. The humidity sensor can be removed from the probe for cleaning or replacement.
Dual Outputs: One output is a standard 4-20mA signal that transmits a variable of interest to the control system, while the other output (with full HART functionality) can be connected to any HART-based system or handheld communicator.
