Description

D20 EME Embedded Storage Data Communication Module

The storage space of D20 EME is necessary for system software installation, program debugging, and data storage, so the system is expanded with DOC2000 series electronic discs from M-system, with a storage capacity of 2M to 1GB. DOC series electronic discs, with small size, simple interfaces, and large capacity, have become the preferred storage type for embedded applications.

D20 EME external interface In order to communicate and manipulate data with other devices, such as GPS devices, missile commanders, platform compass, range finder, touch screen, mouse and so on. In the current network is not universally applied, it is necessary to keep multiple strings and wells for users to use. Therefore, the system uses TI’s TLl6C554 chip on the board to expand the 8 RS232/422 serial port. Network Interface The use of Intel’s 82559 dual-redundant 10/100M adaptive network card is a highlight of the system.

D20 EME Interrupt Expansion Since the SmartModule module itself has 16 levels of interrupts and he uses most of them internally, the number of interrupts available to the user is less, so the interrupts should be expanded. The system uses an FPGA to expand the interrupts.
