The response speed of FBMSSW is not only determined by the CPU, but also related to the transmission rate of I/O data. the main CPU of PCC itself is extremely fast, and at the same time, it also borrows the structure of a mainframe computer, adopting the I/O-Processor to handle the transmission of I/O data individually, and adopting the DPR-Controller to be in charge of the management of the network and the system. In other words, there are three processors on one PCC module, which are independent and interrelated, maximising the speed of the whole system.

FBMSSW is the highest performance product in the X20 CPU series, adopting Intel Celeron 650 processor and additional I/O processor and floating point processor FPU. the system’s single-step instruction processing cycle can be as fast as 0.01 μs, and the cycle time of a single task can be as high as 200 μs, which is one of the world’s most powerful and fastest PLC/PCC CPUs.
