Description

GE DL-1200 RTU

The controller has a variety of process outputs including two SPDT relays for direct control of mains powered pumps, valves or alarms, an open collector transistor for connection to a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Building Management System (BMS) or indirectly to drive further valves or pumps via external relays, and finally a serial communications port via RS485 for remote The controller is capable of detecting damaged or terminated valves or pumps. The controller detects damaged or improperly terminated sensing cables and can assign relay and transistor outputs to respond to leaks or faults.
The GE DL-1200 RTU is a palm-sized EtherCAT (Ethernet over Control Automation Technology) master controller based on the Intel Atom quad-core processor E3845 1.9GHz with syntax compliant with IEC-61131. The Talos master controller allows for the easy migration of legacy PLC programming to PC-based environments and the Sofotion function block. A single master controller is capable of daisy chaining up to 64 axes and 10,000 I/O control points from the system. The exceptional computing power makes the Talos-3012 perfectly suited for simultaneous multitasking of HMI, motion control, PLC and gateway operations in industrial automation applications.

The GE DL-1200 RTU slave system supports a wide range of I/O, including DI/O, AI/O, thermal measurements, and motion control, and features status monitoring of the EPS module and the system, including overheat detection, low-power detection, slave health reports, error handling, and relay switching life cycles, as well as motion control status. All information can be reviewed via software retrieval or displayed via dedicated indicators, allowing the status of individual modules to be monitored.LinkMasterPro not only assists with EtherCAT configuration, but also evaluates the functionality of each EPS system, with automatic slave detection making system configuration easier than ever. Significantly simplifying the need for system maintenance, each hot-swappable slave module can be replaced without the need for a power failure, significantly reducing MTTR (mean time to repair). In addition, quick-release connectors minimise rewiring efforts. ADLINK’s EtherCAT products are compact and fanless, operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C, and feature IP31-rated metal enclosures to withstand harsh operating conditions.
