Due to the specific design process can be used in different design methods, resulting in a large difference in the complexity of its hardware circuit.

The power circuits of the IC698CPE040-JP inverter speed control for asynchronous motors or brushless DC motor speed control controllers generally adopt the typical AC-DC-AC topology, as shown in Fig. 2 (only the full-bridge rectifier circuit for single-phase AC is given in Fig. 2). IC698CPE040-JP firstly rectifies three-phase or single-phase alternating current into a pulsating DC voltage whose frequency is twice of the grid voltage frequency by bridge rectification, and the pulsating DC voltage is smoothly filtered to get a stable DC voltage with small fluctuation, and then under the control of the microcontroller, it uses the inverter to invert the DC current into a three-phase AC power source with adjustable voltage and frequency, and outputs the DC current into the motor with the need of speed regulation. Then the DC power is inverted into three-phase AC power with adjustable voltage and frequency by inverter under the control of microcontroller, and output to the motor which needs to be speed-controlled, so as to realise the speed control of motor.
