T8448 For telemetry, the auxiliary contacts of the switch under test are connected to the PLC’s inputs and ground on both ends of the leads. When the distribution switch is actuated, the auxiliary contacts open and close accordingly, and the corresponding inputs of the PLC are disconnected or shorted to ground, thus obtaining a high or low level inside the PLC.
T8448 For telemetry, the signal coming out of the transformer must fall within the measurement range of the PLC’s A/D converter module before it can be connected to the input of the corresponding module. In addition, when selecting the PLC’s A/D module, the sampling period should also be considered. Too long a period, will not be able to obtain accurate values.
