MVI56-MCM usually does not participate in the internal work of running process calculations. Once computing is developed and deployed, it runs within a “black box” and has almost no real-time diagnostic capabilities other than computing output. The goal of library snapshots is to quickly and easily access detailed information of running process calculations without the need to add trace files or run debuggers. With a simple mouse click, OPCcalc and EDICTvb users can request a “snapshot” of any running process computing library.

MVI56-MCM are displayed to users in the form of a set of reports that can be viewed and exported. The library snapshot includes 6 separate reports: Summary Report: An overview of the library, including the number of equations, number of labels, runtime, and output error count values. Report: A list of all input and output labels (values, timestamps, status), as well as any user added values.

MVI56-MCM allows you to easily create process calculations using OPC tags as input and output for equations. Handle all the “pipelines” of equations, allowing you to focus on computational logic.
