PXI-7344 Super Flow Meter

PXI-7344 Most of the hidden problems will be notified to the field operator by means of alarms before the failure occurs. Because the multiparameter transmitter comes with a complete fault prediction and analysis function. Therefore, a Super Flow Meter with a multi-parameter transmitter has several times the trouble-free operating time of a normal differential pressure flow meter: alarms for freezing of the pilot pipe, alarms for over-temperature/over-pressure, and alarms for pressure leaks.

PXI-7344 previous differential pressure flowmeter connected to the DCS will occupy three channels, and the DCS also need to use the host computer to complete the flow compensation and calculation function. While the use of super flow meter only occupies a DCS channel, and dynamic algorithm compensation is not possible with DCS. So the use of super flowmeter DCS has a higher accuracy and lower cost.

The cost of purchasing four differential pressure/pressure/temperature/accumulator instruments is enough to buy a multi-parameter transmitter. In addition, PXI-7344 uses only one distributor; only one safety grid for intrinsic safety and explosion-proof; only one cable for on-site installation; and only flowmeter, no pressure/temperature transmitter. Many advantages are significantly reduce the user’s purchase and installation costs.
