TRICONEX 3503EC1 Dual-Port Logic Processing Module

The 3503EC1 supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet, PCI Express, Serial RapidIO and Xilinx Aurora implementations. Optional front panel I/O adds dual SFP ports for Fibre Channel or copper Gigabit Ethernet and VHDCR connectors for extended I/O signal access. Typical uses include analogue, communications, signal intelligence and image processing. Modules have scalable logic, I/O and operating temperature capabilities. The communications module provides connectivity to major European network protocols and can also be used to power a row of I/O modules. The power supply does not need to be manually wired as it is supplied individually through each slice and there is an option to extend the power supply module.

The 3503EC1 comes with a clip-in mounting system and status LEDs for visual diagnostics. Its 11.5 mm width allows larger systems to be connected into smaller panels with up to 64 modules per row. Plug-in spring clip terminals aid wiring. The terminals themselves are removable, allowing components to be wired up and then inserted when the I/O blocks are in place. Setup can be performed using proprietary software, GX Works3, or a dedicated on-board setup tool built into the communication module. The tool includes features such as monitoring/diagnostics and function testing.
