TRICONEX8312 is suitable for applications such as drying, shrinking, preheating substrates, and trimming plastic components. The Malcom Hot Air process heating control system includes a programmable PLC that can be pre configured for multiple heating zones. Each heating zone is equipped with independently controlled heaters and/or blowers, and redundant safety interlocks. These hot air process heating control systems are designed specifically for plug and play operations, including counters, timers, variable airflow speeds, formulas, etc; Pre configured and fully tested for specific customer applications. Intended to integrate with existing production and packaging applications, the Malcom hot air process heating control system can adapt to various heat sources and connect with other industrial controllers of customers. The control cabinet can include an LCD display and switch or touch screen, and comply with UL508A standard. The system can build up to 12 zones, with a maximum of 40 kW and 1000 CFM, 120-480 V, 1-phase or 3-phase electrical requirements.

TRICONEX8312 achieves this by running as both a Profibus DP slave on the Profibus network and a CAN node on the J1939 network. Exchange data from any network according to user-defined configurations. HMS provides a free Windows based configuration tool (BWConfig) that allows users to map J1939 parameter (PGN) data to the input and output tables of the module. The Profibus master can access this table through the Profibus DP network. With its sturdy and durable industrial design, this device is designed specifically for various applications and industries. This includes applications in agriculture, construction, firefighting and rescue, oil and gas, mining, power generation, motor control, material handling, truck transportation, mass transportation, and shipbuilding. Typical applications include applications in oil and gas production, or in vehicle applications where gateways are used as interfaces between J1939 networks and Profibus based industrial PLCs. On the Profibus side, the gateway supports the Profibus DP slave function with cyclic I/O data transmission, capable of processing up to 244 bytes of input and 244 bytes of output data.
