Description

E69F-B12-S Field-Mounted Current-to-Pneumatic Converter

E69F-B12-S In response to the advantages and disadvantages of the two types of popular serial bus control methods, Siemens has absorbed the advantages of the two control methods and introduced AS-Interface (Remote I/O) bus technology. AS-Interface is an actuator-sensor interface bus system, which means that decentralized I/O signals are collected by slaves and transmitted to the AS-I master with only two signal wires. to the AS-Interface master.

The E69F-B12-S master is called in sequence with a maximum cycle time of 5ms. The AS-Interface slave node has the function of automatically shutting down the bus in case of error, cutting off its connection with the bus so that other slaves will not be affected, and its fault problems can be reflected on the AS-Interface master in time.

Each frame of E69F-B12-S information has CRC checksum and other error checking measures to ensure the high reliability of AS-I bus. The direct communication distance of AS-I bus can reach up to 100m, and the maximum distance extended through the relay station is 300m, and up to 248 sensors and actuators can be installed in AS-I bus.
